The Research Study

On July 5, 1990, Daniel Rudman, MD ( a top researcher in HGH treatment ), along with his associates at the Medical College of Wisconsin ( USA ), published an article in the very prestigious New England Journal of Medicine.

They conducted a ground-breaking research study monitoring the results of six ( 6 ) months of synthetic HGH injections on a group of twelve ( 12 ) men, from age sixty-one ( 61 ) to eighty-one ( 81 ) years old. They also used a control group of men in the same age range to compare their discoveries.

The incredible results of this research trial made medical history. They learned that the group of men who were given the HGH injections had gained an average of 8.8 percent of muscle. Meanwhile, these men also lost an average of 14.4 percent of BODY FAT, with diets or exercise. Additionally, they observed that their skin had grown thicker and firmer, and the lumbar bones of their spines had increased.

The Results

As they evaluated the results of this significant research study, they realized the following:

"The declining activity of the Growth Hormone Insulin-Like Growth Factor I ( IGF-1 ) axis with advancing age may contribute to the decrease in lean body mass and the increase in mass of Adipose ( Fat ) tissue that occur with aging."

They compared and analyzed the outcome of the treatment between the two groups of men, and make their conclusions. The test results of their research trial were remarkable. Those who were given the synthetic HGH had very noticeable benefits and positive improvements. Therefore, they considered that this research made medical history.

What they learned is that the group of men who were taking the HGH treatment, achieved significant health improvements, in two specific areas of their physical health. That first group of 12 healthy elderly men, gained an average of about 8.8% in muscle, during the treatment period of just six ( 6 ) months.

At the same time, they also discovered that there was also an average increase of 1.6% in bone density in the lumbar bones of their spines.

Next, these same men also lost an average of about 14.4% of body fat, when exercise or dieting was included during the treatment period. Furthermore, the research group also determined that the skin of these men had grown thicker and more firm.

Then they compared the measurements of the second group of 9 healthy elderly men. These did not receive the HGH treatment during the test period. And the research team observed that there was NO significant change in any of these measurements.

The Conclusions

In the published research study, Dr. Daniel Rudman made the following realization:

"The effects of six months of { therapy with } Human Growth Hormone ( HGH  ) on lean body mass and Adipose-tissue { FAT } mass, were equivalent in magnitude to the changes incurred during 10 to 20 years of aging".

He then concluded : "The overall deterioration of the body that comes with growing old is NOT inevitable."
